@KarenKennaby You can grow herbs from warmer climes if you have a good sunny windowsill. Freezing is a great option, also works with chillies well!

Our garden is communal and so I can’t grow anything outside but still do the kitchen windowsill thing! And to have a wider selection I freeze herbs too, they aren’t AS good as fresh but still a lot better than dried, good for flavour but not garnish as they look a wilted mess!

My family love growing mint in the garden. I’ve managed to kill more mint than the mint sauce manufacturers… I’ve come to accept that I just don’t have green fingers 🙁
