Pity Walkers have given this great product an American name. They are not potato chips, they are potato CRISPS. Chips are what you have with fish, or a nice juicy steak, and are a different thing altogether. Come on Walkers, do the right thing!

Sounds great you tease you – too bad it doesn’t do us in the US much good. Not that I wouldn’t enjoy returning to the UK one of these days – lovely memories. Anyway, sounds yummy and while it may not be quite the same, I’ve now got a taste for tortilla chips so looks like it’ll be Mexican food for dinner. Thanks for the inspiration!

Hi Michael. Chips (in my language LOL) are something I don’t keep around the house much. Potato chips – plain, salt & vinegar, barbecue, or whatever – sit in the cupboard calling to me. I love white corn tortilla chips, though, and for some reason I am satisfied with just a few and then I can stop. Sounds like a wonderful day you had tasting crisps!

Look forward to seeing if they become a packet to buy as Walkers ready salted are JUST my fave… as are the cheese an onion – especially since they went veggie…used to like the bacon until it stopped being Veggie…so posh Walkers…will be interesting!
