What a difference a couple of weeks can make to food in the news. Hold on, wait, no it doesn't. It still has something for everyone, fear, horror, more fear and of course the stupid.
So go ahead and indulge yourself and suck up these stories like a good bowl of ramen…
1 in 10 sausages may give you hepatitis
That will teach you to do trade with some dodgy sausage seller. Wait it affects us all? I thought virus laden food stories went out with mad cow disease. Surely that 6 pack of bangers won't kill me? What do you mean I gotta cook 'em?

You eat Doritos and drink Mountain Dew together right?
So why not make them one delicious drink? Yes the yanks have more to worry about than hepatitis, the DEWitos drink was tested on some US college students. Sorry but I already have a bit of sick in my mouth.

Don't eat that burger you doughnut!
Yes there is yet another hugely calorific treat for your eating pleasure. This time it’s from the Hungry House chain of restaurants. Dubbed the 'doughnut burger' it does indeed live up to its inspired name as it really is a double beef patty bacon cheeseburger with a glazed doughnut both top and bottom. Well doesn't that sound yummy!

OK let’s write this cookbook!…wait what were we talking about?
Now of all the noble projects to help crowdfund this sounds a little high (geddit?) risk. Would you part with your hard earned cash to help a bunch of stoners make a cookbook? I mean do they even cook? Surely it would be easier for them pick up a phone when the munchies kick in? Oh well it’s your money, find out more here…
