</span><figcaption id="caption-attachment-4390" class="wp-caption-text">Me and Aldo!</figcaption></figure> <p>After a few speeches and a fascinating history of Terroni&#8217;s we got to the unveiling of the slicer. Aldo whipped off the black cover which had been hiding the prize all evening and then produced the first slice of Parma ham to a ripple of applause and even a few laughs, as we all imagined a chef of Aldo’s stature to have someone to slice ham for him!</p> <p>A few more plates of the Parma ham canapés went round with glasses of Prosecco (<em>of course!</em>) to wash them down, and our time at Terroni’s was coming to an end.</p> <p>We all had an excellent evening with good humour abound and a real buzz, there was also warm family feel to the event in keeping with the Terroni tradition.</p> <p>It reminds us that although we think of Parma ham as something simple, actually there is a lot of work, care and skill which goes into the product right to the point of purchase.</p> <p>If you have the opportunity make sure you visit Terroni of Clerkenwell and support a real piece of London’s history.</p> <p>Make sure you tell us all about your favourite way to use Parma ham or if you’re a Terroni regular in the comments below.</p> <address><strong>Terroni of Clerkenwell </strong></address> <address>138-140 Clerkenwell Road</address> <address>London</address> <address>EC1R 5DL</address> <p>Tel: 020 7837 1712</p> <p><a href="http://go.redirectingat.com/?id=55073X1314650&amp;xs=1&amp;url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.terroni.co.uk%2F&amp;sref=rss" target="_blank">www.terroni.co.uk</a></p> <p><a href="http://go.redirectingat.com/?id=55073X1314650&amp;xs=1&amp;url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.prosciuttodiparma.com%2F&amp;sref=rss" target="_blank">www.prosciuttodiparma.com</a></p> <p><a href="https://www.foodontheblog.co.uk/" target="_blank">Michael Robinson</a></p> <div class="skimlinks-disclosure-button"><p><a href="http://go.redirectingat.com/?id=55073X1314650&amp;xs=1&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Fskimlinks.com%2F&amp;sref=rss" target="_blank"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.foodontheblog.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/skimlinks/assets/Disclosure_blue.png" style="display:block" title="" alt="" /></a></p></div> <h3>Author information</h3><div class="ts-fab-wrapper" style="overflow:hidden"><div class="ts-fab-photo" style="float:left;width:64px"><img alt='The Food Curator' src='https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/48e74e42a260eab648a78cfad5062d64?s=64&#038;d=mm&#038;r=g' srcset='https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/48e74e42a260eab648a78cfad5062d64?s=128&#038;d=mm&#038;r=g 2x' class='avatar avatar-64 photo' height='64' width='64' loading='lazy' decoding='async'/></div><!-- /.ts-fab-photo --><div class="ts-fab-text" style="margin-left:74px"><div class="ts-fab-header"><h4><a href="http://go.redirectingat.com/?id=55073X1314650&amp;xs=1&amp;url=http%3A%2F%2Ftinyurl.com%2Fthefoodcurator&amp;sref=rss">The Food Curator</a></h4></div><!-- /.ts-fab-header --><div class="ts-fab-content" style="margin-bottom:0.5em"><p>The Food Curator (AKA Michael Robinson) is an aficionado of all things food and bon viveur based in London.
