Hi Michael, the Spring Rolls sound very Yummy! I used to cook a lot about 30 years ago, in fact my husband often jokes around and says I "conned him" into marrying me with my good cooking, because he loved it! He said he would look forward to coming home to my dinner at night. But, soon after that, I got tired of cooking and went the "other way" completely.

Hope you are feeling better, soup is a perfect food when you have a cold or flu. Dashi is great by itself as well as a base for lots more soups and noodle broths.

Michael,

You have successfully made me hungry. That Chinese food looks delish!

I'm always trying something new. I had a touch of the flu this past week, and my favorite feel better food is Japanese Clear Soup. Now, if you go and have it take out, it costs a fortune. So I Googled it and made it myself! It is referred to as Dashi Soup, which is a "stock" and you can add just about any vegetable you want in it.

It really picked me up!
