Day four and I am still going, yes I am impressed too.
Now I didn’t sleep well at all last night, so was feeling a bit rough. As I was unprepared for this juice fast I had a my first live G+ hangout today so there was no time to stop. Had a few mentally deranged moments in the day mostly because of my bank Santander, so not sure I can put that down to juicing or their ineptness, but I have found I can’t do fools this week. Which is a good thing!
I felt so inspired as soon as I started work ,I was doing that I was forgetting that it was time to juice and did slack off on the water in the day. I paid a price for that as later in the afternoon I felt really woozie, almost to the point I was going to eat something. It was not a nice feeling. I went as far as the kitchen and just couldn’t. It was like I am not ready to break this fast just yet.
If it wasn’t for the lovely packaged and pre-maid juices by the lovely lot at Soul Mate Food I think the breaking of the juice cleanse would have happened without too much struggle. I guess you are meant to take it easy when your body is being given a chance to rest, it makes sense.
Juice four is lovely deep red colour. I wasn’t sure when I looked at the list of what its got in it, as I got caught on the word currant, but red currant is fine if not a bit tangtastic.
This is one a great afternoon pick me up juice…and the colour is what I want my nails to be!
As the day is ending I am feeling strong and back on mission the wobble has gone. I am at my mum’s which is usually my food den, she has so much delicious stuff everywhere it would be rude not to eat. Yet I have managed it and it was aided by her saying wow you look really good.
I didn’t weigh myself before I started this so am not going to be able to report ‘lbs’ lost. Yet I do know things that were snug aren’t and I do know it isn’t permanent either unless I think about what and how I eat beyond this. I know I am never going to be raw, or just a juicer but I am going to be different in my approach to food, as anything once it becomes your master you do have to kick it to touch. Yet I am sure that makes me sound like I have an eating disorder, or some obesity issue. I assure you not. I have just never in my life had to diet or think about what I eat and the last few years just started to say, hey watch what you eat missy!
I did book myself a post cleanse lunch for Saturday, at somewhere quite special and appropriate to break such a cleanse and bulk fast, so clearly the short term end is in sight. Not going to tell you where just yet, it’s a surprise!
Whatever got me here, I am pleased it did. Going to decide whether to go for juicing next week again while I dream and this sleep is well deserved. Inside I may be crying as it has been tough but on the outside I am shining, I think quite literally. I just hope I don’t dream of pizzas as that would be cruel!

Hi Sarupa, I did a lemon detox diet a few times, that’s the closest I’ve been to “juicing”. It was hard for the first few days, and then got easier. I felt a bit weak though and couldn’t exercise as much as I normally do. It was an easy way to lose weight though, and I kept it off for awhile, because I really didn’t feel like eating much for a few weeks!

ooo lemon detox that sounds bitter… 🙂 Yes I think I have tried other diet things in the past for various detox, juicing is my favourite as there is so much variety and when they are done for you it is brilliant…! I get the not wanting to eat much after as I am now on my final day I can’t help wondering what I will eat as what I thought I wanted I am not bothered about, it is like I don’t want to undo the kick start my body has been given 😉
