As you know I love a barbeque and I cook just about anything on it whenever I get the chance. Not only is it a fun and tasty way to cook all kinds of meat and vegetables, but it’s also the most social way to eat!

What’s your favourite?

I’m sure you already know all this and are a big barbeque fan too. I mean who isn’t…

When you have your friends and family over for that greatest of summer backyard events what is it you love to cook?

You won’t be short of options from burgers to sweetcorn, from a juicy steak to a nice big portobello mushroom, there is so much that benefits from a good bit of char and the delicious smoky flavour only the barbeque can impart.

Maybe you have a recipe you would like to share or perhaps there is something unusual you cook on the barbeque which the world needs to know about? Maybe you have a local butcher who makes the most amazing sausages that make your barbeque dreams come true…

Whatever it is I’m sure there is something which is a must have dish for when you fire up the barbie!

One of my favourites is pork ribs, given a good rub with flavourful spices and seasoning then slow cooked and smoked until wonderfully tender, then finished by drizzling liberally with a good BBQ sauce. Good grief I’m making myself hungry just writing about this J

If your really stuck for thinking of a favourite or if you want to try something new then why not pick up my Kindle book ‘Man vs Fire’. (Don’t forget to change the .co.uk to the relevant Amazon in your country so you can buy it and get barbequing!) In it you’ll find everything you need to wow your guests and give them some really interesting and delicious barbeque food!

Remember to share your favourite barbeque food below and let’s all make barbequing better!

  1. This is my heart pounding with so much excitement.

I love summer and eating out with friends and family. Love to be on that grill and call myself a “Grill Master”. No special sauce just the one everyone always ask to do the honors. Even when I am not dressed for it. I always bring a spare set of clothes.

I love ribs and chicken, Just learn grilled apples with sprinkle of cinnamon rubbed with olive oil. It taste so amazing. You have to try it. Only for a few minutes on both sides. It is a different sweet twist.

Thanks for making me hungry and it is too late a night to cook this stuff.

    Love ya!

  2. Michael, It’s summer here in the US and the best time for barbecues of all sorts. I love to put all kinds of foods on the grill including chicken, fish, vegetables, and fruits. I just grilled some peaches over the weekend and drizzled them with raw honey and they were so good with coconut ice cream! YUM!
